Well, hello! Thank you for stopping by my sparkly corner of the internet! I created leave a little sparkle after many years of polyvore-ing (remember those days?), mood-boarding on my bedroom floor from stacks of magazines (there are over 200+ still at my childhood home), and combing through every post of my favorite bloggers (before Instagram was even created). I craved to create a place that was my own, but I didn't know what I wanted it to look like or if I had what it took.

So, I made a pact to myself that the summer after graduating college, before starting my full-time job, I would create a blog. And boy, I am so happy I did. Not only do I get to share my love for statement earrings, the perfect lip, and anything with sparkles (of course!), but I also get to chronicle and share my experiences as a black young professional navigating the world around me- and figuring it all out along the way, like so many of you also are. Over the years, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to connect with so many other creatives in this space, which has been a true blessing. And not to mention, partner with some incredible brands like Banana Republic, Goodwill, and Mejuri to name a few.

My life post college took me to San Francisco, where I started my career in product marketing at YouTube. After almost 4 years at YouTube, where I most recently lead marketing for our Public Figures and Fashion & Beauty teams in New York, I left the big tech world to pursue my dreams directly in fashion. It was challenging (and also during a pandemic), but I finally landed on the product marketing team at Rent the Runway (yes, the same company that I tag oh so often here!) Talk about a dream come true?! When I’m not thinking about RTR or creating for this space, you can probably find me working on other cards, my inclusive greeting card company.
